Driven Signage FAQs

Driven Signage FAQs

What is Driven Signage?
It is a digital signage platform that turns any screen in your business into a live display for your menu, promotions, and entertainment. You build a display once, open its link on your screen, and update everything from your phone or laptop.

What kind of screen do I need?
Any screen that runs a modern web browser: a smart TV, a media stick, a tablet, or a small PC. There is no special hardware to buy and nothing to install on the screen itself.

How do I put a display on my screen?
Copy the display link from the dashboard, open it in the browser on your screen, set full screen, and leave it running. The link looks like drivensignage.com/display/ followed by your display code.

How do I change what is on the screen?
Edit the display in the dashboard from any phone or laptop. Every screen showing that display updates itself within seconds. You never touch the screen in the store.

Can I run more than one screen?
Yes. Each screen is its own display with its own link. Build as many as you need and open each link on its screen.

What is the Live TV widget?
It plays a live channel on your display and, on a schedule you set, pauses to play your own promo, then returns to the live feed. It gives customers something to watch and gives you a promotion slot that runs itself.

Where does the live channel come from?
You provide the channel link from your own streaming provider. A single channel link always works. If your provider gives you a multi channel playlist, you can pick which channel to show.

How do scheduled ad breaks work?
You set how many minutes of live TV play between breaks and which promos play during each break. When the live segment reaches your interval, the feed pauses, your promos play in order, then the channel comes back and the timer resets.

What can I use for promos?
A YouTube video, an uploaded clip, an image, a direct media link, or a Nextcloud share link from files.drivensoftwaresolutions.com or cloud.drivensoftwaresolutions.com. You set how long each item stays on screen.

What happens if the stream drops?
The screen recovers on its own. It reconnects, repairs, or rebuilds the player as needed, and if you have promos set it loops them so the screen never goes black. When the channel is healthy again, it returns to live by itself.

Do I need design skills?
No. The widgets handle the layout. You supply the words, photos, and prices.

Can several businesses share one screen?
Yes. A shared screen can rotate promos for several partner businesses, which is a common setup for food halls, plazas, and lobbies.

How fast can I get live?
Most owners have a screen live the same day.

Who do I contact for help?
Reach Driven support with your display name and a short description of what you see. For stream questions, the troubleshooting article walks through the common fixes.
