Pricing and Per-Minute Rates

CallerFriendly is a flat monthly subscription plus a small per-minute usage charge. There are no surprise fees, no contracts, and no setup costs. You can change or cancel any time from your dashboard.

Each plan includes:

  • One business number. Extra numbers are $5 each per month.
  • Voicemail-to-text.
  • Caller ID with customer history (when you connect to your CRM).
  • All apps (desktop, mobile, browser) at no extra cost.

Per-minute usage

Calls and texts on top of your plan are billed per minute or per message. We round to the nearest minute on every call.

Bundled minutes

The Pro plan includes 2,000 free inbound minutes per month. Growth includes 500. Starter includes 100. Bundled minutes do not roll over.

Add-ons

  • Compliance retention (7-year recording storage): $40 / month.
  • AI call summaries (auto-summary of every call): $15 / month per team member.
  • Skill-based routing for queues: included on Pro, $30 / month on Growth.

Your bill in plain language

We charge you on the same day each month — whatever day you signed up. Your bill has three sections:

  1. Plan subscription — your monthly Starter, Growth, or Pro fee.
  2. Usage — per-minute and per-message totals for the month that just ended.
  3. Add-ons and extras — numbers, retention, and any add-ons you have on.

You can download your full call detail report any time from Billing → Usage.

Changing your plan

  1. Open Billing → Plan.
  2. Pick the plan you want.
  3. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect on your next billing date so you keep what you have already paid for.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time from Billing → Cancel Plan. Your service runs through the end of the month you have paid for. After that, your numbers are released — port them out first if you want to keep them.

Common questions

Are international calls billed differently? Yes. Each country has its own rate. Look up any number in your dashboard before you dial.

Do you charge for missed calls? Yes — the call still connected to our side. It is billed at the inbound minute rate. Voicemail playback is not extra.

Is there a setup fee? No.

Do you offer a trial? Yes. The first 14 days are free on Starter, Growth, and Pro. You will not be billed until day 15, and you can cancel any time before then with no charge.
