DrivenSuite: Quick Start — Your First 30 Minutes
Brand new to DrivenSuite? Do these eight steps and you'll have a functional, billing, money-collecting setup before lunch.
1. Log in and set your password
You'll have received a welcome email with a temporary password. Sign in at your DrivenSuite URL, then top right → My Profile to set a real password and turn on two-factor authentication. Takes 60 seconds.
2. Add your business basics
Setup → Company Info — fill in your business name, address, phone, logo, and tax ID. Everything that prints (invoices, emails, statements) pulls from here.
3. Set up your tax rate
Setup → Taxes — add the sales tax rate(s) you charge. If you only sell in one city, this is one entry. If you sell across states or countries, add each.
4. Connect a payment method
Setup → Payment Methods → Connect Processor — link your card processor (Stripe, Clover, Square, etc.) so customers can pay invoices online. This unlocks the Pay Now button on every invoice.
5. Add your first customer
Customers → New Customer — name, email, phone, address. Two minutes.
6. Send your first invoice
Sales → Invoices → New Invoice — pick the customer, add a line item, click Save & Send. The customer gets a clean, branded email with a Pay Now button. (You can also click Send Test to send it to yourself first.)
7. Add your team
HR → Staff → New Staff — add anyone who'll use DrivenSuite, set their role (Owner, Manager, Sales, Support, etc.), and they'll get an invite email to set their own password.
8. Turn on reminders
Setup → Invoice Reminders — toggle on automatic email reminders before, on, and after due dates. This single setting is responsible for half the overdue-invoice improvement most new accounts see in the first month.
