DrivenSuite: Omni Sales — One View of Every Sale
Omni Sales is your single window into every sale, no matter where it happens — in-store register, online checkout, phone order, booking, third-party marketplace. One report, one customer record, one inventory count.
Where sales come from
Omni Sales pulls in:
- Point of Sale (POS) — your register or kiosk transactions.
- Online store — if you sell on your website.
- Bookings & appointments — paid reservations from your booking calendar.
- Phone & manual orders — staff enter them from Sales → Orders → New Order.
- Marketplaces — connected channels (e.g. delivery apps for restaurants).
Every channel writes to the same customer profile and the same inventory, so you never oversell what you don't have.
The Orders view
Sales → Orders shows everything in one list — filter by channel, status, date, customer, or staff member. Click any order to see line items, customer, payment status, fulfillment status, and history.
Inventory in real time
When a sale happens on any channel, stock counts update across all channels within seconds. No more selling the last unit twice because the website didn't know the front counter took one.
Refunds & returns
From any order, click Refund to push the money back to the original payment method. You can refund the full order or just specific items. The inventory restores automatically (unless the item was marked non-returnable, e.g. opened food).
Customer lifetime view
Open any customer to see their full purchase history across every channel — what they buy, how often, average order value. This powers the marketing module's smart segments ("repeat customers", "haven't bought in 90 days", "high spenders").
Reports
Under Reports → Sales you'll find:
- Sales by channel — which channels pay the bills.
- Top products — what's moving, what's collecting dust.
- Sales by hour / day / week — for staffing decisions.
- New vs. returning customer revenue — the most underrated number in retail.
Tips
- Tag in-house comps and voids with a reason. Reports get noisy fast if comps look like real revenue.
- Reconcile cash drawer daily. Discrepancies caught same-day are 10× easier to explain than next week's.
