DrivenSuite: Email Marketing
Send newsletters, promotions, and re-engagement emails to your customer list — directly from DrivenSuite, without paying a separate platform like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
What the Marketing module does
- One list that updates itself as you make sales, capture leads, and run support tickets.
- Smart segments — "bought in the last 30 days", "spent over $500 lifetime", "haven't ordered in 90 days".
- Drag-and-drop email designer with templates.
- Scheduled and triggered sends — a welcome email when a customer is added, a "we miss you" email after 60 days inactive.
- Open and click reports so you know what's working.
Building your first campaign
- Go to Marketing → Campaigns → New Campaign.
- Pick a template (Promotion, Newsletter, Announcement) or start blank.
- Drop in your headline, body copy, and a call-to-action button.
- Pick the audience: all customers, or a smart segment.
- Preview on desktop and mobile.
- Send now, or schedule for later.
Smart segments
Under Marketing → Segments, build audiences by combining filters:
- "Spent more than $X" + "in the last 90 days" → your VIPs
- "Has open project" + "no email in the last 14 days" → check-in candidates
- "First purchase between 30 and 60 days ago" → repeat-customer nudge
Segments update themselves — a customer who hits the criteria today is included the next time you send.
Triggered emails
Set up automation under Marketing → Automations:
- Welcome series — three emails over the first week after a customer is added.
- Post-purchase thank-you — sent 24 hours after any invoice marked paid.
- Win-back — sent when a customer hasn't ordered in 60 days.
- Birthday wish — sent on the customer's birthday (if you collect it).
These run quietly in the background; you set them up once and they earn for years.
Reports
Reports → Marketing shows open rate, click rate, unsubscribes, and — most importantly — revenue attributed to each campaign (sales placed by recipients within 7 days of opening).
Compliance
DrivenSuite handles the legal basics for you — every email includes your business address and a one-click unsubscribe, both required by US (CAN-SPAM) and EU (GDPR) law. Unsubscribed contacts are automatically excluded from future sends.
Tips
- Send less than you think you should. Two thoughtful emails a month beat eight forgettable ones.
- Subject lines under 50 characters open more on mobile.
- The first email of a welcome series is your most-opened email ever. Make it count.
