DrivenSuite: Affiliates & Referrals
Turn your happy customers — and outside partners — into a sales force. The Affiliates module gives every partner their own tracking link, dashboard, and commission, all automatic.
What the Affiliates module does
- Sign up affiliates with their own login.
- Give each affiliate a unique referral link to share.
- Track every click and every sale tied to that link.
- Calculate commission by your chosen rules (flat, percentage, tiered).
- Pay affiliates on schedule by ACH, PayPal, or check.
Setting up the program
- Go to Affiliates → Program Settings.
- Set the commission: 10% of first sale? 5% recurring? Pick what your margins can support.
- Set the cookie window — how long after a click an affiliate still gets credit (30 days is standard).
- Set the minimum payout ($50 is common) and payout schedule (monthly is most common).
- Decide whether affiliates can self-register or are invite-only.
Inviting affiliates
From Affiliates → Affiliates → Invite, send an email invite to a partner. They click the link, fill in their info and payment method, and immediately get their dashboard with their unique link.
What affiliates see
Affiliates log into their own portal showing:
- Their tracking link and short URLs to share
- Banners and graphics you've made available
- Real-time stats — clicks, sign-ups, sales, commissions
- Pending vs. paid commission balance
Transparent reporting keeps them motivated and removes "did my referral count?" disputes.
Paying out
Each pay period, Affiliates → Payouts → Run Payout shows you everyone who's hit the minimum and the amount owed. Approve, and DrivenSuite issues payment (or generates a downloadable file for your bank).
Each payout creates an expense in the Accounting module automatically.
Refunds & clawbacks
If a referred sale is refunded, the commission is automatically reversed — you don't pay commission on revenue you didn't keep.
Tips
- Recruit your top customers first. They already love you; their referrals close.
- Pay reliably and on time. The fastest way to kill an affiliate program is a missed or late payout.
- Give affiliates ready-made content — a banner, an email template, a social blurb. The easier it is to share, the more they share.
