Enroll in a Course and Pick Up Where You Left Off
This article is for students — people taking a course, not building one.
Enrolling in a course
There are two paths into a course.
Path 1: Buy a course
- Open the course page (the link the creator gave you, or the catalog).
- Read the description and pick the price option you want — one-time payment, monthly, or yearly.
- Click Enroll.
- If you do not have an account yet, enter your name, email, and a password. If you already have one, sign in.
- Enter your payment details and confirm.
- You land in the course. The first lesson is ready to play.
You will also get a receipt email with a link to come back to the course any time.
Path 2: Use a free or shared link
Free courses skip the payment step. Some creators send out an enrollment link or coupon code that skips it too. In both cases you still need an account so your progress can be saved.
- Click the link the creator sent you.
- Sign in if you have an account; create one if you do not.
- The course shows up in your dashboard and the first lesson is ready to play.
Coming back later
You do not need to remember the link.
- Go to the same course site where you signed up (or your custom-domain version of it).
- Click Sign In in the top right and enter your email and password.
- Your Dashboard opens, showing every course you are enrolled in.
- Click the course you want to continue. The lesson you last had open is marked Resume.
Click Resume and the player picks up where you left off — same video position, same scroll position on text lessons.
A few things that help
- Use the same email every time. If you accidentally make a second account with a different email address, your progress on the original account does not transfer. Reach out to the creator if this happens; they can usually merge the two.
- Bookmark the site. Save the course site URL in your browser bookmarks. It is faster than searching your email for the receipt.
- Stay signed in on your phone. Most students do at least some of a course on their phone. Sign in once and stay signed in; the player remembers your place across devices.
Forgot your password
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password. Enter your email; a reset link arrives in a minute or two. If you do not see it, check your spam folder. The link expires after an hour — if it does, click Forgot password again to get a fresh one.
Joining a course from your phone
The course site works fine on a phone browser. You can also save it as a home-screen shortcut for one-tap access — your browser has a "Add to Home Screen" option in its share menu.
Common questions
Can I take the course on more than one device? Yes. Sign in on each device and your progress syncs. If you change devices in the middle of a video, the new device starts you a few seconds before where you left off.
Can I download lessons to watch offline? Video lessons stream from the course site — there is no offline download by default. Download lessons (PDFs and worksheets) save to your device the normal way; once downloaded, they work without internet.
Can someone else use my login? Each enrollment is for one student. Sharing your login is usually not allowed by the creator's terms. If you have a team that needs access, ask the creator about group pricing.
