Coupons and Discount Codes
Coupons get more people to enroll. Use them sparingly — a coupon that runs forever is just a lower price.
When coupons work well
- A launch window. A discount for the first week the course is live.
- A holiday sale. Cyber Monday, Black Friday, New Year — short, time-bound, well-promoted.
- A partner promotion. A creator in a related space gets a code to share with their audience.
- A win-back. A code for old subscribers you want back.
- A token for affiliates. A code that gives a small discount to the buyer and a commission to the referrer.

Sharing a coupon
You can share the code itself ("Use code LAUNCH25 at checkout for 25% off") or a one-click link that pre-applies the code at checkout. The pre-apply link is in the coupon detail page — copy and paste it into emails, social posts, or your course page.
Watching how a coupon performs
Open the coupon and look at the Usage card. You see how many times the code has been used, how many enrollments it drove, and the total discount amount.
If a coupon is performing well, extend the end date. If it is not, end it early and try something different — a bigger discount, a shorter window, or a different audience.
Common questions
Can I run more than one coupon at a time? Yes. Students pick which one to use at checkout; codes do not stack.
Can I make a coupon for a specific student only? Yes. Set the Maximum uses to 1 and the One per student option to on. Then share the code only with that student.
Can I revoke a coupon after I made it? Yes. Open it and set Active to Off. Anyone who already used it keeps their order; new attempts get rejected.
Can a student use a coupon for a refund top-up? No. Coupons apply at checkout only. For refunds and store credit, see Refunds and Payment Payouts.
